London Day Nursery Early Childhood Learning Centre is London Bridge’s smallest centre and is the oldest childcare centre in Ontario. They have been offering care for children in London since 1920 at a time when husbands were at war and mothers needed care for their children while they went to work. Today they continue to offer rich learning experiences for children from Infancy to 5 years of age. Located in a well-preserved century home rich with character, the intimate spaces include three classrooms, a full kitchen and office space which support the close relationships that are built here. The gardens, trees, bushes, tall grasses, brick pathways and gentle slopes that are located in the playground allow for children’s joyful encounters and exploration of nature.
